DISCOVERY PREP

The Discovery PREP Program is an NIH (National Institute of Health) funded program. The program provides an intense research experience in outstanding research facilities with leading investigators at the Ohio State University College of Medicine. This experience will prepare out trainees for admission to a graduate biomedical science program. 

The program also provides an intense professional development experience to strengthen their professional skills and gain the necessary research experience in order to excel in a competitive biomedical graduate/doctoral program. 

In the Discovery PREP program, students will understand  and will examine the reality of what it takes to advance in scientific research, and examine and develop professional career goals. Our Program provides motivational techniques, workshops, and mentorship so that our students learn to bring their own personal and professional strengths to the research team dynamic.
