Dr. Wang joined the faculty in 2005. She is an Assistant Professor of Internal Medicine in the Division of Infectious Diseases. She is also the Medical Director of the Ben Franklin Tuberculosis Control Program, which reports and investigates all tuberculosis cases for Franklin County, Ohio.
Special Interests
Dr Wang’s clinical interest is in tuberculosis and tropical medicine. Her major research interest has been molecular epidemiology and diagnosis of tuberculosis. She also has overseas experience with TB and HIV in India and Thailand. She is a member of the Infectious Diseases Society of America, the American Society of Tropical Medicine and Hygiene, and the International Society of Travel Medicine.
